My Story:

My journey with Disruptive Nutrition began when I realized that the endless cycle of dieting, restriction, and confusion around food was not the answer to lasting well-being for me. I was eating a very restricted diet and taking HCG (for the third time). I was so tired all the time and losing my hair, so I knew I needed to stop. I also knew I was going to gain the weight back unless I did something different. That’s when I found Disruptive Nutrition, and I’m so glad I did!

The first thing I learned was how to finally love myself, and that changed everything for me! I remember sitting on my couch reading a lesson about how hard my body works to feed my metabolism even when I don’t treat it well, and I finally realized that my body was not my enemy. It was trying to keep me alive, even after all I’d done to it!

Through the Disruptive Nutrition/PFC3 lifestyle, I finally learned I could stop dieting because I hated my body and instead I could move and fuel my body because I loved and appreciated it. This turned everything I knew on it’s head and I finally started to see the long-term results I had always dreamed of. That’s when I knew I had to help others experience the same.

Today, I’m proud to be part of the Disruptive Nutrition team because I genuinely believe in this process. I’ve lived it. And it’s been the best thing I’ve ever done for my life and my health. I know what it feels like to be unsure, skeptical, and hopeful all at once. And I also know what’s possible on the other side.

Why I am passionate about helping others: 

My whole life was totally transformed through working with Carrie and the coaches at Disruptive Nutrition. I now have hope for a healthy future instead of the fear that I'll be sitting on the couch for the rest of my life. I've also been able to manage an autoimmune disease and reverse some other health issues that were cropping up, just by paying attention to my blood sugar and habits. This is so life-changing, and really so simple, that I just have to share with others that they don't have to live sick and tired!

My favorite nutrition tip: 

Your body is always working for you. When you understand that, care replaces criticism. So my favorite mindset tip is: Care for your body from gratitude, not guilt. 

My favorite sustainability tip: 

Morning time. When you spend time each morning deciding what you want for yourself, you'll be more intentional about how you live each day.
