Episode 166: New Year, New Irene

It’s that time of year! We’ve made it past Thanksgiving, Christmas is right around the corner and everyone is starting to think about their goals going into the New Year. Especially this week’s guest, Irene. In the last 5 years alone, she started a new diet every New Year. 

She was having some pretty regular symptoms: in addition to heart palpitations, she would get shaky and feel her blood sugar dropping. She’d eat to try to get it stabilized but in general didn’t feel great, was always exhausted and relied on her coffee addiction to get her going in the morning. 

After the 4-weeks to wellness program, she doesn’t miss her coffee. She wakes up feeling energized every morning because she’s finally sleeping well. And most importantly, this will be the first year she doesn’t put ‘lose weight’ on her list of New Year’s resolutions!
